Goodbye Raptr

Goodbye Raptr
I just deleted the app off my PC. I remember years ago when Raptr was an up and coming site and I really loved it. It was primed to be the Facebook of the gaming world. Then things started to suck starting about the same time they "redesigned" the site. And by redesign, I mean they changed the color scheme and made everything hard to read. black on black. Since that time, features have been jettisoned and the site has fumbled its way into competing with other sites that do the same function much better. Right now, I have no idea WHAT the site is trying to be. Twitch? Steam? Youtube? It has lost its way. What it used to be was a place where you could meet other gamers and be able to see a nice layout of your accomplishments in games. It also used to be about game tracking. It used to be passionate about ALL games, no matter what gen. Now, it's nothing. Raptr still exists. But so does Circuit City and Blockbuster Video. Somebody bought the rights to the names and have stores open, but they are not the original stores. They're just facsimiles. That is what Raptr has become. It is Raptr in name only. It lost its soul and its purpose. This is not a place for people that love games anymore. Goodbye Raptr.
