Chris Paul is really coming into his own playing against ex-rapist Kobe Bryant and the overlauded Lakers. Reminds me a bit of when Jordan took his fledgling Bulls into the playoffs but lost in the late 80s when they ran into the Celtics. But you knew you were seeing two teams going in opposite directions when you saw them play. The same goes for the Lakers and the Hornets. How many more good years does Bryant have before the Lakers start to slip out of championship contention? I guess they can always pick up another younger star to extend his career a bit. But in the following clip, Chris Paul says he'd hit his own mother out on the court if it meant winning a game. He said this in response to a reporter asking how Paul and Bryant could be friends off the court but yet compete so bitterly out on the court.
