Nintendo Week Kinda Changes My Mind About 3DS

Ok, I've went from an 80% chance of buying a 3DS when it was first announced to 0% before I saw this episode of Nintendo Week. Now I'm at 25% chance of buying it. This show comes on the Nintendo Channel on your Wii. I'm probably only one of 3 people that watch it. It used to be really funny cuz they would do skits and stuff. Like when Glory of Heracles came out, they met Zeus and went to fight against Hades! The past couple of months, it's really become just straight information presentation which is kinda sad. But this was the first time I actually felt the urge to buy the 3DS. It just looks like fun watching Gary and Alison goof around with it.

What turned me off of the 3DS (besides the price), is that not only do you have to buy the system, you also have to buy games (duh!). So IF I turn in my DSi, get $75 credit, the 3DS is still $175. And if I buy one game with it at $40 that's $215. If I get 2 games that would be $255. All this without tax of course. So I don't know. I'm thinking my DSi would pay for the games? Guess I'll have to look at my checkbook and bills and then decide. The two titles I would get would probably be Steel Diver and Madden NFL Football.

I guess I could go ahead and get the 3DS and just wait on buying a game a little later, but come on, where's the fun in that??

But what I'm really thinking is that if I have to think this much about whether I want to buy it, that means I'm not sure if I really want it. And if I'm not really fully behind getting it, might as well NOT get it. Stay tuned for the next chapter of his novella.

They needed to price it lower, at about $220.

Oh, here is the Nintendo Week episode that came out on Wednesday:
