Walmart Drops Price on Nintendo 3DS Now
I read a tweet not that long ago that said Target had sent an email stating the the planned price drop for the Nintendo 3DS that is happening on August 12 is available NOW. Of course, I never take things people tweet as truth so I called Target. The person that I spoke to in Electronics didn't know what the hell I was talking about. In fact, they didn't even know about ANY price drop at all!
I did get in touch with someone at my nearby Walmart and they did verify that the price of the 3DS has been rolled back to $170 already. So you can purchase one in the store and get those 20 free NES and Game Boy Advance games as long as you do a system update or connect to the e-shop by 11:59pm EASTERN time tomorrow night.
I also called Best Buy and Toys R' Us and they still have the 3DS priced at $250.
