So today, I went into Frys, and they always have like two or three shopping carts near the entrance with clearance items. One of them said "Under $5". I've never in my life found anything I wanted in these carts, but that changed today. Beneath the dreck of Wii shovelware, I found 3 copies of River City Soccer Hooligans and one copy of Top Spin 3 for the Nintendo DS for 99 cents each. I only want one copy of Soccer Hooligans so I bought the other two just to give them away! I'll pay the postage. So I guess you can just email me on and I'll pick two winners tomorrow! I also posted this giveaway on my Facebook and Twitter.
I guess I'll make the cutoff date and time to enter the giveaway 6pm Central tomorrow. Just send an email with the subject heading "River City Giveaway" to seshos@hotmail.com and I'll email the 2 winners between 6 and 630pm central.
I don't expect a lot of entries simply because most people have no clue as to the history of this game, coming as it does from the Kunio-kun franchise bloodline of NES games such as Renegade, River City Ransom, and Super Dodge Ball. Different Frys locations will have different clearance items. So check those carts if you have a local Frys.
