Man Grows Pea Plant Inside His Lungs

Ok, straight from the Twilight Zone. This dude was eating peas and one of them went down the wrong tube and ended up in his lungs. And then it started growing! He was coughing a lot and was afraid a doctor's test was going to tell him it was cancer. Thank god it was just a plant.

This started me thinking about the environment. If we ever destroy it,I mean, really destroy it, instead of just drowning a few polar bears here and there, we could start growing crops inside ourselves. Or if an asteroid hit the earth and we were enveloped in a dust cloud that hid the sun for decades, we could grow plants inside ourselves. Or we could just implant seeds in the population of a country that was suffering from starvation. The potential for this is limitless. One of the great discoveries of the century!
